Walk into a gym and you feel the energy immediately: the music, the light, the sound of equipment and, of course, the look of the space. Brick and stone wall panel in gyms turns that energy into a visual language. An industrial, strong, motivating atmosphere keeps members coming back.
A real project: our gym project
In our gym project in the project gallery, the Raja tone of the Ladrillo model was used. The terracotta-coloured brick, combined with a black ceiling, black equipment and green-white accent lights, builds a strong, dynamic identity in every corner of the gym. The brick walls around arched passageways, the boxing ring and the training areas also make the gym instantly recognisable in photos.
Which gym walls?
Training areas
The walls of free-weight and functional training areas carry the gym's character the most. Brick texture creates an industrial, "authentic" training atmosphere here.
Corridors and passageways
Corridors leading to locker rooms and studios become a striking entry experience when combined with panel and light.
Reception and welcome area
This is the first thing a member sees every day. The logo, motivational slogans and brick texture establish the brand's identity here.
Studios
In studios for calmer classes like yoga and pilates, light-toned stone or wood textures can be preferred.
Brick, stone or concrete?
- Brick: energetic, industrial and warm. The most popular texture for fitness and CrossFit gyms. Ladrillo Loft also suits this style.
- Stone: more prestigious and calm. For boutique studios and premium clubs.
- Concrete: hard, minimal and modern. Concrete-look panels like Hierro, used alongside brick, create a strong contrast.
Planning against impact and contact
Weights, machines and contact from athletes can pose a risk to walls in a gym. For that reason, we recommend:
- not positioning weight racks and machines right up against the wall,
- using protective skirting or buffer details on lower wall areas,
- considering alternative surfaces instead of panel in zones of heavy contact.
Light: half of the energy
In gyms, coloured LED lines, track spotlights and dramatic shadows bring the brick texture to life. As in our gym project, a black ceiling and directed lighting make brick walls stand out like a stage set.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does panel installation take in a gym?
It depends on the size of the space, but it's far faster than laying brick. Planning can be done together with our team.
Can it be used in humid areas (showers, around pools)?
Use in wet, high-humidity areas should be assessed model by model. We recommend consulting our team for these areas.
How do I get a quote for a gym project?
